If you are like a lot of our clients that we build websites for, you know that a blog is important to the site, but you get hung up when it comes time to sit down and fill that blog with great content. Many people get stuck in blogging gridlock because they can't get past the big picture of blogging instead of focusing on narrow topics. You don't need to hit a home run with each blog. The 80/20 rule comes in to play with blogging. 80% of your blog traffic will be generated from 20% of your blogs so don't think that you have to be Hemingway every time . Here are some quick real estate blog ideas to get you over the hump and start filling that website with great content.

Obviously we could go on and on but a couple things to remember are to limit "selling" yourself and your listings. If readers feel like they are being sold to, the will turn off immediately. Keep your content educational, informative, or entertaining and you will get much better engagement. Write using some personality so readers get a feel for you and your local expertise, and blog about things that are important to you. People will catch on to that and connect with that content. Good luck and remember to follow us on Twitter or check out some of our other real estate blogs for more helpful real estate marketing tips.
