real estate website design

Real estate websites can be hard to get right –  they require the perfect balance of functionality and style. With 97% of homebuyers searching online for homes, real estate websites need to make it easy for buyers to sort through listings and find homes that match their desired layout and budget. But an effective real estate website also needs to reflect your company’s quality of customer service, attention to detail and a desired lifestyle for the buyer.

In the background of all this, the website also needs to be optimized for search engines so it can be easily found online. It’s a lot to take on. So when it all comes together seamlessly into a great real estate website, it’s something to celebrate.

At PRIME, we’ve developed more than 25 real estate websites and learned a thing or two along the way. Here are four of our favorites that we’re proud to say we’ve been a part of.

Bozeman Real Estate Group

Bozeman Real Estate Group (BREG) has focused on building more and more functionality into its website over time, and it shows.

Why it works: There are multiple ways to find exactly what you’re looking for on this website, and it starts with a simple search function right on the home page. Go deeper and dive into the pros and cons of each community, view new listings, open houses or search only for homes that have recently been reduced in price. The BREG site is also an ideal example of seamless integration with the local Multiple Listing Service (MLS). By using this type of data feed in your real estate website, you can make sure listings are automatically updated with the latest information and customize listings as you wish.

White Horse Ranch

White Horse Ranch, a brand new residential development in Montana, needed a website that would allow them to attract buyers before homes were even complete. Building an elegant brand and website that reflected the quality of the to-be-built community was paramount.

Why it works: This relatively simple website does a lot with a little. It clearly showcases the five available floorplans and where they’re located within the community. The White Horse Ranch website also provides a clear, easy way for buyers to express their interest and get into the pipeline for the next available homes. It masters the lead-generation and lead-management process for both the development and potential buyers.

Braxton Development

Braxton Development is a real estate developer of hotels and multi-family apartment buildings across the United States, with buildings in more than 13 states. With recent growth and notoriety, the company’s brand and website needed a facelift to match its status as a premier real estate developer. Rather than seeking buyers or renters, the goal of this website is to attract investors and strategic partners, including contractors, property managers and hospitality groups.

Why it works: Its sleek and authoritative design does just that. Grand imagery and clean, angular lines evoke the high-end developments Braxton produces.

PRG Group

PRG Group is a builder of luxury homes and developments in the Big Sky, Montana area. We love that this website clearly showcases the builder’s capabilities, with large-scale photos of incredible homes with even more incredible views.

Why it works: What’s most effective is the collection of case studies that show how they’ve delivered solutions for clients every step of the way, from designing innovative layouts to sourcing unique materials. For landowners looking to build a custom, high-end home, it’s clear that PRG Group has the experience and credentials to get the job done.
