How do they do it? You know, the professional content creators, bloggers, those gifted individuals who can sit and roll-out beautifully crafted content right out of the gate. No need to get green with envy, you can do it too! Here are six ways to blog like the pros and make it through your content creation process without losing steam.
#1. Dream Big, Kid
Better to start with a grandiose vision for your topic list -- the more, the merrier. Brainstorm topics that you think will appeal to your target audience and stay relevant to your campaign. Who knows, that one big blog topic you were planning to write content for might turn into three more blogs as you begin your outlines!

#2. Outline The Damn Thing
To help your content "flow," jot down a few points you want to touch on in every stage of your writing. Basic formatting for content creation is always okay to use (i.e., intro, body copy, conclusion).
Next, decide on a keyword you want to optimize your topic around. Find ways to repeat that keyword throughout your content and blog title. The perfect title should include your keyword plus some creative and relevant verbiage to attract readers. Keep that title short and sweet -- your body copy is where you can dive into the meat and potatoes of your topic.
Why keywords, you ask? Your blog is good, so you want people to find and read it, right? Doing a little keyword research and optimizing your content around one is going to help your SEO.
As you work through your outline, find opportunities to sneak in facts and figures to reinforce your topic. Factual content can be a great way to beef up your word count and add a little credibility to your writing. It is essential to make sure you are citing your sources for the research you decide to include. Like carbs, curated content is better in moderation. After all, you should use your voice and tone in your writing, to avoid sounding like a textbook.
#4. Avoid Beefy Paragraphs
Use whatever knowledge you have retained from high school English. No one likes a paragraph that's twenty sentences long. You, as a reader, would not be interested in reading dense content that didn't provide the opportunity for a break, so why subject your audience to it? Make your points and keep your paragraphs to 3-4 sentences if you can. You can also use bulleted lists and section headers to help your cause. That being said, avoid run-on sentences as well. Remember, proper punctuation is going to be your best friend when writing a blog.
#5. For The Love Of God, Check Your Spelling
Nothing tarnishes your credibility or diminishes your following quicker than spelling errors. Don't get me wrong, they happen to all of us, but lucky for you, there is a great tool embedded in most programs that will do it for you. So stick around, give your content a second look, use your spellchecker, and if you are really thorough, have someone else give it a quick read. Putting your content through the ringer when editing is going to be the best thing you could do for your blog to have its best chance out there in this harsh world.

#6. Pretty Pictures
As much as you love to see your beautifully typed words sprawled across the screen, your readers might not be so receptive. Throw your audience a bone, or two, and add some fun, relevant imagery to break up your content. Blog-worthy images can come in the form of infographics, photography, illustrations and even funny, animated gifs! People want to be entertained, so no matter the tone of your content, pretty pictures are a must-have.
